About the Director
Mr. Adam W. Faw is the artistic director of the Pinecrest Players. A graduate of Appalachian State University with a Bachelor of Science in Teaching Theatre Arts, Faw later earned his Master of Education in Theatre Arts from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Mr. Faw took the helm of the Pinecrest Players in the fall of 2003, and has been teaching and directing ever since. Directing credits at Pinecrest include Guys and Dolls, Tarzan the Musical, Beauty and the Beast, Sweet Charity, and many more.
In addition to teaching and directing, Faw works with multiple arts organizations throughout the community. As the technical director of the Robert E. Lee Auditorium, he assists with lighting, sound, and staging for organizations such as North Carolina Symphony, Miss Greater Sandhills Scholarship Competition, Carolina Philharmonic, Taylor Dance,
