Senior Show Eligibility (& fine print)
Click here to cast your vote for Senior Show Director.
The following are requirements for participation in the Senior Show.
* That you maintain good standings and an 85 average in Honors Theatre
* That you keep up with and successfully complete all portfolio based aspects of the Senior Show (mentor logs, product, product proposals, etc)
* That you have successfully completed the Junior Project (if you are currently a sophomore who is going to take Honors Theatre 3 your junior year, you will be completing The Junior Project in class during the spring of your Junior year)
* This does NOT apply to technicians working backstage for production week of the show (spotlight operator, light board operator, backstage crew, etc)
* Exceptions will be handled as the need arises (for example, having a part in the show that cannot be filled by someone currently in the honors theatre class, a student transferring mid-year, etc).
This means that if you are currently a junior and are NOT in Theatre Arts 3 (meaning you're not completing the Junior Project in class), that you will need to complete the Junior Project the summer before your senior year to be eligible to participate in the Senior Show.
Finally, as a senior, you also have the option to not participate in the senior show and to do another version of 'The Project' (different script, different design choices, etc).

Process for Selecting Director(s)
Process for recalling/changing Director(s)
- Students interested in being director will present a short presentation to the seniors documenting why they would be a good choice for director. Presentations will take place in late November.
- Seniors will vote for their director(s) anonymously after the presentations. Seniors who are up for consideration for being director will not be a part of that vote.
- Director(s) must be chosen by a 2/3 majority of those eligible to vote.
- If no one person or group can gain a 2/3 majority, then we will either narrow down the field of voting, or step back and reassess director options.
- Director(s) confirmed in November.
Process for recalling/changing Director(s)
- Any member(s) of the cast may request a vote on changing the director situation. While the theatre teacher needs to know who made the request, that person will remain anonymous to the rest of the cast/director.
- If at least 1/3 of those eligible to vote for the director request a change, then the theatre arts teacher will call for a vote to either 'Change the Director Situation' or 'Keep the director situation.' At least 2/3 of those eligible to vote must vote for a change for this to move forward.
- If at least 2/3 of those eligible to vote call for a change, then we will step back in the 'process for selecting a director.'
Process for Selecting a Script
- November/December: Search for plays during class
- Senior Show submissions to teacher by mid December.

- Script must be chosen by a 2/3 majority of those eligible to vote.
