Tabitha Talbert Memorial Scholarship
This scholarship honors the memory of Pinecrest High School alumnus Tabitha Talbert and celebrates her lifelong love of theatre, art, and education.
Tabitha was a 2019 graduate of Pinecrest and passed away on June 4, 2021. She was a vital member of the Pinecrest Players Theatre Department, proudly serving as a Student Director and Props Head. She dreamed of becoming a teacher and pursued her passion for education at St. Andrews College through Sandhills Community College, majoring in Elementary Education.
In tribute to Tabitha, this scholarship is available to any Pinecrest High School senior seeking to pursue theatre, art, or education. A one-time award of $1,000 will be granted to the recipient to help support their college studies in one of these fields.
