Steps for Honors Theatre Arts Auditions
If you are presenting an audition monologue, it should be between 1-2 minutes, from a published play (straight play, not a musical). The play should be contemporary (meaning from within the past 125 years). Or, if you prefer, you can present a technical portfolio (see Mr. Faw for more details on portfolio presentation).
If you are presenting a technical portfolio, this should be no more than four minutes long. You will present your portfolio in the auditorium alcove, along with your digital presentation (PowerPoint, Google Slides, etc).
NOTE: Both monologues and portfolio presentations will be timed.
Requirements for acceptance into Honors Theatre Arts

- Step 2: Create a theatrical resume and upload it to the Canvas course (under the assignment 'Honors Theatre Application') by March 5, 2023. Click here for advice on creating your resume, and for templates.
- Step 3: Create a Professional Business Letter and upload it to the Canvas course (under the assignment 'Honors Theatre Application') by Sunday March 5, 2023.
