Senior Play
Senior
Production aspect: Each student will choose one (below are suggestions, but not the only ones)
Lighting Design, Directing, Publicity, Properties Design, Playwriting, Costumes/Makeup, Sound Design, Stage Management, Dramaturgy
(If there is an area you are interested in not listed here, ask Mr. Faw)
Job Description: Define the job and responsibilities of the position, giving a full description (at least one page).
Mentor Logs: Each student will find an expert in the field as their mentor. Logs are evidence of meeting with your mentor, what you have learned and how they have helped.
Product Proposal: One of your first assignments will be to create a proposal for each of your products (described below). The proposal will have a full description of what the product will include, as well as the due date. Once approved, the proposal will become your cover page for each product.
Products: A product is something tangible that would be created as a result of the successful completion of your chosen field. Think about this as documenting the work you are already doing (and have already done) for the show...pictures of rehearsals at different points in the process, meeting logs, rehearsal logs, etc. You will create four products for your portfolio.
Progress:
Periodically, you will meet with me to go over progress. You will need to prove significant progress towards your goals and products. If you start to fall behind in your progress (mentor logs, products, etc), you will not rehearse until you have caught up.
