Assignment: Costume Design Third (final) Section: Your costume design will need to be created by hand (watercolor paints are the general preferred medium, although we could discuss other mediums). The design should be a full color design (no pencil sketches). Mr. Faw will have watercolor paper and watercolor paints/brushes available for use in class.
Your costume design should be painted onto the character who would be wearing the costume.
If available, you should also add a fabric swatch, stapled to the costume design, to show the color and texture of the fabric. Most stores that sell fabric will give you sample swatches for free if you ask nicely (Wal-Mart, Linens N Things in Vass, Hobby Lobby).
The design should be professional in appearance and organization.
