NCTC State Play Festival

The NCTC State Play Festival will be Nov 19 and 20 at Greensboro College.

Travel: We will take a bus to Greensboro early Thursday morning, Nov 19 (leaving appx 6:00 am) and will be staying overnight in the Wingate by Wyndham Hotel, Greensboro. We will be returning after the awards ceremony late Friday night, Nov 20 on the bus. Students were given a travel permission form to have parents and teachers fill out. Performance: Pinecrest performs in the 7th slot of the festival, Thursday Nov 19 at 5:00 pm. Just like regionals, admission to the festival is free, and anyone can attend. Union Pines performs Friday Nov 20 at 5:00 pm.
Fees: There are no additional fees (beyond the original fair share) for the state play festival. Food, travel, and lodging is taken care of (except for dinner on Thursday night, we will be going to the mall after the play festival).
Contact: Students phones will be off while they are on stage, or in the audience watching plays. However, they can have them out between shows and when they are outside. Should you need to contact anyone in case of emergency:

Itinerary
Thursday, Nov 19

5:45 am (no later than): Students arrive at Pinecrest, bring breakfast with you to eat on the bus
6:00 am: Bus departs Pinecrest for Greensboro College
8:00 am: Bus arrives at GC
Lunch provided at GC
1:30 pm: Tech Meeting at GC
5:00 pm: Pinecrest Performs at GC
7:00 pm: Bus picks up students at GC, leaves for Four Seasons Mall for dinner (note, this is the only meal students will be responsible for themselves, all others are taken care of)
9:00 pm (appx): Bus arrives at Hotel, Wingate by Wyndham, Greensboro
